I left the platform one year ago, and now as I came back it's in a worse condition than before. What the actual fuck steemians?
Don't tell me it's the market's fault. Many projects did quite well in 2019. It's the shitty projects that are plummeting and will continue to do so until there's no more money to be drained out. Back in the day we were in the top 25 in marketcap. Where are we now?
Steemit is no longer Beta!
Ahaha, don't make me laugh. Removing the "beta" from the logo does not change the fact that the UI still looks and feels like it was made before MySpace was invented. I hear the same old song with a new tune, but what's actually new here? I'll tell you what: new fake accounts, new ways to spam, new good-for-nothing bots and theres more flagging than ever before.
Proof Of Stake failed.
Big surprise. PoS will never work, because the people who own most of the (steem)power are the ones who make the decisions, thanks to the very "democratic" and "decentralised" voting system that is the backbone of Proof of Stake. (Let me give you a tip: it's a pyramid.) And who are these people? The WHALES! Go ahead and trust them with your money, they have our best interest at heart, just look at Steem's history. I'm not a whale, you are not a whale, and 99% of the people reading this are not whales. If staking is not for you, don't forget that you can lock your Steem in SteemPower for a minimum of 3 months, and receive the crazy ROI of 2.19%, subject to blockchain variance. See FAQ for details.
And what happened to SMTs? Still waiting?
Even if somehow Steem pulls it off, then what? You can create your own token. Wow! OMG! What a big deal! Just look at all tokens that are out there. What's the point? Steem is hardly a smart contract platform, or a social media, or a blog platform, or a financial instrument, or whatever at this point. I've ben waiting for @appics to launch since 2017. In crypto time, this is decades. It's 2020 already, and we actually entered the new decade.
Where the F is @ned and his millions?
He's gone. He will not be answering your calls anytime soon. Like any smart man, he seized the opportunity, took the money and ran off. He still has the keys to @steemit 's wallet, filled with millions of dollars under his fingertips. (Pro tip: ninjamine as much tokens as you can before going public with your token, and dump them during a bull run). And if by chance you are thinking into investing some your crypto here, be sure to check out @ned 's personal wallet at https://steemitwallet.com/@steemit where he can single-handedly drain the marketcap of Steem. Personally, I would like a refund.
