Well, here in Europe, Americans are famous for this philosophy and their politics reaffirm this reputation.

There are of course more countries to which this applies, but America is the only world power with these ideals, while Russia and China are clearly "collective societies", which Putin even admitted publicly at one point.

Don't get me wrong, both systems have advantages and disadvantages, but in my opinion individualism is an irreplaceable value and personal freedom is preferable to social security in case of doubt.

I am "here in Europe" too and I can tell you there is a huge difference in how people in European countries see the USA. I can not agree with your statement. It's better to talk for yourself instead of whole Europe. Thanks for explaining your answer.
I noticed you wrote "individualism" the way I just did. With us that would mean you do not mean it they are the opposite of individualism or there's a different thought hidden behind the word (so called individualism). Happy Day. 💕
