Previously, I have purchased STEEM POWER by selecting "buy steem" in the hamburger menu or in my wallet. As of yesterday, a new tab opens and I am linked to blockshares.us. Why the change? I prefer not opening a new account at blocktrades.us. Comments? Thanx

Thats the best thing about blockpays service. No need to create an account.
Just select the input curreny and the output currency (steem or steempower) and your steem username and the click get deposit address then you just send your inbound currency to the address provided and @blocktrades will send you steem or steem power (what ever you selected as an output)
