Well, I have never been so happy to say that I was wrong.
When I happened upon this photo posted by a tiny account, I assumed it was plagiarism, because I recognized the picture from Pixabay.
Upon searching Google images I found the photo on Pixabay and other free image sources, so I flagged the post and accused the Photographer of being a plagiarist.
After having @walden review the account, he thinks the guy is for real.
Especially after the Introduction Post.

Thanks for coming clean, and sorry we had to meet like this, but no real harm done now. This is not the first time this has happened and in fact people steal my work all the time and call it their own; there have been times when sites have banned me for putting my work there and finding it already there and they have said I am the plagiarist, not so much my photos these days as I give them all away for free on Pixabay, and many other sites including National Geographic, but mainly my writing that is taken. Someone told me if it is stolen so much then I must be good. I have noticed many that do take my work and call it their own actually make far more on it than I do; I wonder why...This image I took in the north of Thailand one day and was out visiting the temples and came across this little fellow who had just eaten and so was no that interested in me as food. I crept up on him, or her and took a quick shot and then counted myself as lucky and got out of it and went and had a cup of coffee...

Yes, now that I come to think of it, it was a good thing that he flagged me and then apologised, which was nice of him to do so, and proper; it's brought me lots of attention...
Its OK, Flags can be forgotten when you give Upvotes, it makes people forget about the flags

We do have to watch out for plagiarists on Steemit as they are eager to make money for no work. It's best to have some proof of who you are if possible, e.g. link to your Steemit account from elsewhere. You've got some great pictures and I hope Steemit works well for you.
Thanks; in future maybe I will put my link to where my photos are as proof that I am who I say I am. I hope to be off on another adventure soon and will take loads of photos and write about my travels...
If anybody plagiarizes your content in Steemit let me know and I will fuck them up.

I am on Shutterstock with the images that they would take but have not reached a pay-out yet; I'm more of a snap what I like kind of photographer and places like Shutterstock need certain kinds of photos and the two don't always meet

Imo it’s better to use the flags and subsequently remove them if you find out you were mistaken, rather than not using them at all :)

This is a problem with stake based system. One gauges ones work based on how many SP he has in his account.
Yet, we were able to solve it.
No, that's not true, its not a "problem with stake based accounts" haha wtf? Its just a problem with ALL new users! All new users are subject to scrutiny across ALL platforms! No away around that hah its just reality of the world! And after enuf time users WILl start earning Sp if they post valuable stuff ... Pretty much a guarantee threyll be earning SOME money maybe not MUCH but itll be SOME and itll be reflected in their stats and history and ill be able to see their followers and other metrics so yeah its fine man its not a stake based system problem lololol
we are just using stake to gauge how serious you are and its a good metric, if you can fuckin keep any SP youre not worth our time so what?
But no I don't look at SP at all when I see posts I just look at their blog and comments, I do lopok at SP but if they've been here 2 years and have like no SP I know somethings wrong... And that is a GREAT way to judge people! But it doenst box people in at all, if you can post good content you can get an upvote! But sometimes yeah SP is a good way to ensure someone is legit and yes we will have restaurants hotels and rewards clubs from steem in the future where youll be able to get free stuff and discounts just for owning Steempower
whatsup said that in his blog. Wales has been here since last 6 months and has 760 followers . Also a level 50 rep. So his account was tiny only in sense of SP.
Had he bought few thousand SP on day 1, he would have been seen as more legit in the community.
Wow sometimes we make this kinda mistakes, but the fact that you tend to make further investigation into the man proves how much you really wanted to clarify his originality.

This also means that we might be getting new reaaally quality content makers :) It's becoming more often that small accounts produce high quality content (even before joining steemit) because they actually research the site and come up with ways to make the most of their amazing work!
Small accounts are the real content creators here on steemit. That's the more reason we really need to encourage them and keep them active.
The biggest problem now on steemt is once you don't have enough SP then no one wants to hear from you.
