While I agree wholeheartedly with this message...
Sadly, we have had a whale that flags sometimes for questionable reasons. He also doubles down on those threats and carries the flagging on for days, and extends the flagging to others who try to share their point of view on the topic or defend the "Flagged User".
He pounds his chest while reinforcing over and over that if your account is smaller than his he has every right to flag, punish and insult the users of the platform.
Hence we have a culture where people are afraid to make a statement and others are hesitant to defend what they think is right.
With much power comes much responsibility.
If you've got something to say, say it like a man. I won't stand for your passive-aggressive bullshit.
Okay, you have contributed to the culture in a major way, and your post seems disingenuous and ironic.
Ironic? Obviously you're missing the point. I do exactly what I'm saying above.
Here is an example of a Steemian flagging and encouraging others to flag something he saw as a legit concern. Please review your activities on the thread.
I'm not interested in engaging in a huge drama I can't win. Here is why I think the post sounds ironic.

Eh, you're not seeing the big picture, and, you've already engaged.
Could you explain the purpose of the RewardPoolRape bot and how it benefits the greater community for those of us too dumb to figure it out?
Bernie's way of keeping SBD in the system by turning it into steempower.
Then upvoting posts in a non-bias way. Which makes the bot stronger and provides some benefit for the average joe.
At least that's what it looked like to me.
Correct me if I'm wrong...
Seems that way to me though!

I would think this is a good thing?
