I made a new twitter account and I tweet several times a day, an nobody even likes them. (They are awesome I promise) They don't even hand out money and you still have to cultivate and audience.
Nobody is going to make sure your awesome content gets noticed.
It's a hard truth, but you have to build relationships either through comments, voting bots or other promotion.
You are absolutely right. Some are more worried about making money than creating and upvoting good content. That's what's worrying me... I have realistic expectations, and I am still disappointed. Not because of the money, but because I feel that nobody cares, and probably that isn't even true, It just seems so...
I just checked out your blog, and I want to say "Hang in there." It has been up and down, and if you look at my old posts you will see I was ready to bail at one point. This whole thing with the OP and the others... I just don't know. I am a liberty lover, and a person declaring their self the guardian of the reward pool smacks a little of an ego trip, but I do agree the current "curation" is not working. That said, persistence has paid off, and with the kind of content you will bring you will get there. I have tried to just stay out of this war, the only thing I can say for certain is that both sides have valid points but there is very little useful communication happening, at least that I have seen.
Thank you very much for your feedback. I would be making the same content even if steemit didn't exist, so I don't plan to give up... I really wish that this issues get fixed because the idea behind is great...
this whole system of steemit was being pushed in flat earth so its most likely run by evil pimps of one ilk or another... I tried this, and by the looks of it, my content will get ignored... Just like it was when I started going viral on LInkedin, shut down due to my anti corporate message..... Sooner or later an actual free platform will emerge from the blockchain, not controlled by the long standing syndicate, probably on the skycoin net or something...
I’m sorry to read that 🙁 I feel you...
Just to be clear.
You MUST expect people wanting to make money over everything.
The system only works if they can only make real money BY making good content.
It's a matter of incentives, not morality. That's why OP is addressing ned.
I agree with that too
