What kind of person would flag a memorial to the fallen of WWII out of vengeance?

Since I already peeked back at some of your older comments to get a more well-rounded impression, I understand what you are saying about war. There are always casualties in a fight, and wars (both flag wars and real ones) tend to expand far beyond their intended targets.
I even think I'd tend to agree with you on governments, power, and control. I can not agree that war has no valid purpose. That disagreement is probably why we're having this conversion.
That memorial, however, is an effort to give solace to families of those killed, and acknowledge that their lives had meaning. Those lives are already lost, so to take the argument there is cruel.
That's why I questioned the flagging of that particular image. The flag was an indiscriminate revenge aimed at all posts by this person - in my opinion a terribly unethical use of the flag.
The flag on me was at least targeted, a disagreement. I wouldn't flag for that reason, but it's better than the abuse I was pointing out.
