I realized if my starting point of giving is to get....than I'm limiting my best expression and my sharing is conditional.

This is a great point. We live in a society of conditional love and conditional giving. It's the downfall of relationships. If you do for me, then I'll do for you. But, it starts with us, giving without expecting anything in return. I love what you said about it "limiting my best expression"! So true. Thanks for the reminder.
