Although I would love to say $5 I think for a May 31st price for STEEM I am going to call it at $0.73-$0.83 (mean $0.78) but by December 31st over $2.50 for sure.

I hope it will go higher, but it has been noted :)
It definitely will go higher. I see Q4 being strong and 2018 being the breakout year for STEEMIT. We need developer support to put this on Roku's, Android TV's like my NVIDIA Shield TV (a-freakin-mazing btw), SmartTV's and other "Streaming Boxes" (Amazon Fire, Apple TV (good luck with that one) but truly I think the success of STEEMIT will be its ability to get into the TV/Video space and the average user will be a consumer and not a creator which will make us, creators, the real whales of 2018 and beyond. Sure we will have our competition from Google and other apps like Hulu etc but in my honest assessment the future of TV is not big production companies but the destruction of the Cable TV paradigm and the replacement with user created content that must be easily available for ingestion and intake. Why do I think I know this? My own personal trends and the trends of people I know. They and I watch more YouTube than Cable TV, Netflix and Amazon Prime TV combined and people are coming out with much better content (See "Black Eyed Kids: Let Me In" on Amazon Prime to see my point, yuck). I think you're right! It would be the best if 2018 will become the year STEEM go crazy. Right now is too soon. We are not ready for a million users.
No we are not. But as the userbase grows and the cream rises to the top (and we must make sure WE are that cream) the future will be brighter and with the proper development this Platform can EASILY take over many social media websites worth billions USD today. To truly take over I think STEEMIT should never, ever, go public as a company and sell out and also any Ad Revenue should go to those who own and create the content. That will be a way to create an atmosphere of constant growth. I do have one point of contention however. I see many newer accounts with NSFW content and I do not think this should be encouraged on STEEMIT. With the cryptocurrency and chat ability I do not want to see STEEMIT getting negative attention when there are plenty of other sites one can go to and see such content. We are better than that IMHO. We must learn from the mistakes of other companies and social media platforms. Facebook has private pedo groups for Gosh sake! We do not want to go down that dirty road. Maintain the moral high ground and we will see ourselves heads held high and pants sagging with all our heavy wallets (wait crypto doesn't weight anything...nvm)
Very true. If you want to masturbate you shouoldn't go to Steemit.. :p That we have no ads is essential! To create a better business model I would be okay with the company taking a small amount of the payout from every post.
Not that I don't want it to be a company and have no ads but I do not want it to be traded on the stock market where it is now subject to fiduciary responsibility and ending up like Facebook and Twitter and losing all of what makes it different. The decent community that doesn't monetize in sex and vice. Look at Craigslist and Backpage. From something very simple came smut peddlers. I dont want another one of those here. But thats just my opinion. I don't make the rules. I don't even know how to make money on here hahaha
