The steemit class that I held in St. Albert yesterday morning made some firsts! I'm fairly confident that it was the first steemit class held in St. Albert, the first steemit social gathering and the first event paid in steem by those who attended. But to top it all off, everyone seem to really enjoy the class and they learned a lot in the process as well. We now have some new bloggers. Please feel free to check out their work.

We had two others who attended but they could not get their accounts in time, but they took it all in anyway! Here is a recent comment made from @angelfire808 in her post last night:
I went to this class with the thinking that this would be technical, dry and very computer geeky – which in some ways it was because Rob is a former IT guy, and technical is what he does. In fact, I think if I were to ask him a computer, tech or systems question while he was asleep, he would be able to answer with barely waking up. But the strange thing that happened was that woven in all the very helpful, technical stuff was the most loving, spiritual, peaceful and higher-level theme that had me near tears many times with the power of it. I want to thank Rob for his patience, knowledge and humility during the class today. - Muriel Biggs
The social after the class also went very well. There was lots of meaningful discussions as we spent the afternoon talking and sharing. If people in the Alberta area are interested in doing another class, I am definitely willing to do it again. I have a talent for explaining complicated technical issues in a simple way. My mother-in-law, who is not technical at all and is in her 70's enjoyed the class and learned a lot. So please feel free to let me know by adding your comments to this post. I had fun and look forward to the next Steemit sharing circle!
There is no doubt at all that Rob is a very very talented guy with God gifted technical skills and this is so true about you Rob,
Other than this quality Rob aka @wwf is very kind hearted person without differentiating the people on the basis of their religious beliefs and we all are proud to be his friends :)
Well Guys! steemit is platform in which everyone wins. Wins feelings, hearts, love, affection, brotherhood and off-course money as well.
So, i welcome you all to become the member of this wonderful platform and i pray to God for your huge success :)

Lets succeed together and spread Peace all over :) :) :)
Thank you for the kind words, support and encouragement my friend. I work hard not to show any form of bias towards religious beliefs, color of skin or anything like that. My bias is towards those who engage in violence, abusive behaviours and that sort of thing. Thank you for encouraging the new bloggers on this platform. May they find support and do well.
United we stand, divided we fall :)
I also differentiate upon these evil habits/acts and i always condemn such acts
Stay Blessed :) :)
@firephoenixdance came home with all sorts of interesting tidbits. It was a great service that you provided. Well worth the price. Thank you for doing that. Had I not been working at the farmers market I would have been there as well. Thanks again!
Hmnnn.....sounds like a great day. Perhaps, if I could get maybe 15-20 people together in Reno we could pay your way down and pay for your training. Something to consider. It would be great. Blessings.
Wile the offer sounds wonderful and I really do appreciate it very much, I won't be able to make the trip. My political views makes it dangerous for me to cross international fictional constructs people call borders. Perhaps on line ... one day. <3
Hmnn... didn't think about that. Good news though: my daughter(@littlescribe) with her tech wizard husbands help is going to dedicate the next month solely to Steemit, and if it goes well, which I believe it will, she is then going to go full time. This affects me however, in that she will be supportive of me too. And what I need the most right now is the tech training and support. She is going to do that for me. So anyway, I look forward to kicking some butt here. Spring is here now. Up in the upper 60's this week. Can imagine you are out tilling soil something. Wish I was there to help. I like that kind of thing. Blessings my friend. Glad your seminar went well. OH! And my very talented, outgoing, entrepreneurial son is going to sign up and be part of our efforts. You'll be meeting them both pretty soon.
Congratulations @wwf - looks like a very succesful course.
I wish you had been offering classes when I first started. I am not a techy person and I floundered my way along and sometimes I feel I could use a little guidance now. Can you teach this online? St. Albert's is a long way from Nicaragua.
Well, if there is enough interest, I would consider recording it.
Perhaps we need to put it there and see how many nibbles you get. You might be surprised and then you will be busier than ever.
Good fery good
@a-northern-boy, a black hat was left behind. Was that yours? If so, you can contact Rita at the church and pick it up.
Indeed it's a great success
Congratulations @wwf
great Success
