No kidding, if you check the internal market, you will notice a very one sided graph.
That green graph dominating the left side of the picture is basically all the SBD created by HF19. I suppose steemians are still trying to acquire steem at a reasonable price, my advice to you is to forget about that. Soon, the price of steem in SBD will be the same as the USD price, if not more.
If you really want steem, your best bet is to probably buy it now.
I'm no economist but high supply usually leads to a decrease in value, which is what I believe we are seeing here with the SBD. Good news or bad?
Keep steeming yo!
Im guessing till the end of the year at lest $5
That's possible. Do you know about the internal market?
Im studying about it , Just got started on the crypto world 3 weeks ago
learning now about the graphs and how to read it, its a guess, I just did a ether contract on genesis mining invested $2700 and I'm relocating to stem .. lets see how it goes if it doubles like I'm thinking ill get my investment back sooner than expected.
xD

You mean buy Steem with actual money ? I'm new here ... is that what people do ?
Yes. You can buy Steem with actual money. (After all, Steem is actual money too.)
But I do not know any way to buy it directly with fiat currency.
You may buy it with bitcoin from bittrex, or click the "buy" below your STEEM balance in your wallet, and it will direct you to blocktrades. Then you deposit bitcoin or other crypto, and you will get STEEM in your wallet.
Just reply to this thread if you have problem with it, would try to help. :)
Don't use blocktrades. Click the three lines to the right of your profile picture. Click "Internal Market" and buy STEEM for SBD there. That way you get it instantly. You can also watch the price rise and fall and pick when is best to buy.
If you use the link in your wallet to buy, it takes longer, and your exchange is subject to market fluctuation. So you may be getting less STEEM than you paid for by the time the transaction is completed.
Ya. From what I understand, the best way to get STEEM from SBD is by the method you mentioned above.
But, if I want to buy STEEM with, say, USD or EUR, or BTC, do you have any suggestion?
I'm afraid I don't. I haven't actually cashed out any of my earnings into a currency I can use outside of Steemit yet. Though I will be doing so fairly soon, because we really need the money.
But @cryptowallet and @marketreport are really great people to follow for accurate cryptocurrency information. Well, accurate as far as I can tell. I'm still just barely getting my feet wet in the cryptocurrency world.
i believe the route most people take to buy steem with actual money is to acquire bit coin, then trade for steem with that, over one of the trading zones. Never did any of that either.
Etherium also seems to be an equally used cryptocurrency for it.
no i meant with SBD, in the internal market. Usually the best place to exchange SBD for steem
