People is unsure of what and how much they can do, they stopped commenting snd voting and even with reasonable rc back they hesitate to upvote or comment when they should have done before. I have seen videos of people absolutely discouraged and if onlybfor the lack of communication this has been a hurries messy step. I know if it was done there are reasons as sustainability. Again those restrictions will affect mostly to the smallest precisely the ones you want to engage and keep. For me, I see no big deal, i wait,and will see but the fact is that it has caused a little exodus even with those replenished just when we had a low retention. I agree with you, time tell but I recommend you see for example @snook video (usually supee cheerful) people is feeling that way and just been told to "hope" or "trust" dealing with new confusing and even conflicting informations.
