Time to Buy STEEM!

$1.001

Wow

Is the current price of one steem, if you are into steemit for the long run it is a for sure time to buy.
I missed the price lower than this, so if it goes down again you bet I will pick some more up.

If nothing at all Here are the key points to get steem

Steempower + Steem delegation + SMT's

Sort:

Waiting to power down and get the hell out of this gimmicky piece of crap as fast as possible.

STEEM trades $1M per day. Compare to real coins trading volume.

Instead of fixing obvious GUI issues and making STEEMIT more user friendly, the leadership is going to take a year to build a new cool techy toy, SMT.

Good luck.

I'm getting the hell out before STEEM trades below $.50

Ill buy your cheap steem.

how much cheap

Go for it. There is $1M traded daily more or less. It is out there for you to buy

coinmarketcap.com

50 unknown coins trade more daily than STEEM

I can understand that you'd be upset if you've not gained an unrealized profit to date if you bought higher, but at $1, or whatever investment level, why not give it a few years to mature appropriately before giving up on what you initially thought was worth the investment? The tech isn't growing fast enough for your liking?

Give it some time. Steemit is not even 2 years old and is in BETA mode I believe. Patience and long term vision will be wise to reconsider versus the temporary fiat price.

The model doesn't work, with just $1M trading daily.

Pets.com was a "great idea" that also doesnt exist today.

I agree on low volume for the time being, but it's relatively new and in beta. Facebook was absurd for the first year or two.

If the pets.com dot.com bubble cliche, trade volume during a Bitcoin bull run/ALT coin downturn (temporary), and SMT tech toy distraction over site development (assumption) are your primary examples, is there anything else that carries enough weight to say this girl threw away her money? ... While implying that everyone else has too?

It feels like the folks that run steemit.com are afraid of success. The path seems clear, lots of experts available to help make the GUI more user friendly and the overall onboarding process easier, to make retention easier, to make posting easier.

But no action on any of the obvious issues. Not even acknowledgement of the problem.

Fear of success will always guarantee lack of success

Thank for the constructive discussion. Fair points. Hopefully there is some action that's simply unseen, and potentially for reasons we'd understand. If they're just letting the site coast, then that wouldn't be good as it does need to improve. That said, I'm sure a lot goes on behind the scenes that we wouldn't be able to know about yet that might make their way to the public eye soon enough to ease concerns.

More importantly, I might encourage further discussion to explain why people upvote themselves 100% and others just a fraction, because that triggers something about Steemit which I think is a bigger flaw at the backbone of the site than some of the other opinions you just fairly mentioned. Just for the sake of understanding something that confuses me.

Perhaps an assessment of relative value of contribution? Perhaps just randomness on button pushes

Guys Jerry banfield has predicted that after 2017 steem price might shoot up to 10 dollars
It's the best time to buy

@govind7 - I wouldn't use one individual's price prediction to skew your own expectations on the future price. They have a lot at stake to promote future price predictions.

The best time to buy is when you feel it is, based on your available funds and the charts/volume. Look at the 1 day candles, zoom out on the charts. Then you'll know when "the best time to buy" is.

Any Steem price at, around or below $1 is a great entry point or spot to add to accumulate like @zeartul wisely did since they believe in Steemit as an investment.

Jerry banfield is a reliable source he was right about the bitcoin price
It's not just Jerry banfield opinion many other people have said that steam is the future

I surely hope Steem appreciates greatly for all of our sakes. Steem could be a leader for the future for social media, but I generally suggest that you form your own opinions and targets, and have other people's predictions be more of a supportive factor.

Jerry also told to sell Omisego, lol!

waiting for the forks haha like eryone else!!

Yeah you! I bought 102 Steem yesterday when it fell to 96 cents. I actually can't use coin exchanges where I live, so I went to a Bitcoin ATM just to make sure I could get Steem at this low price!

I thought I was crazy for a sec, but I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only one waiting for a good buy!

Sorry to hear you wasted your dough. Stay in BTC or LTC. Those will be safer in long term

lol I plan to try to keep some Steem, BTC, LTC, and ETH. This is what I'm okay with, since I don't have too much experience in cryptos

Good plan to focus on the top 3. Good long term value likely there.

I've become extremely cynical on STEEM and STEEMIT

Mhmm c: I feel that day trading is way too risky! I'm sorry to hear that, but instead of telling you to go against what you feel is right, you are allowed to have a negative opinion towards the platform.

For myself personally and my own experiences, I like being here. The goal is always to find a place you care about the most.

@shello - stay true to your game plan. You invested for a reason (and solid price for now), and should never let someone's biased criticism stop you from being proud of your decision. You can now use your new Steem Power to build up more on the platform. It's a long term game.

Definitely diversify and have core holdings in the top cryptocurrencies out there as you planned.

Made $100 turn into steem yesterday and the btc rising 10 bucks as I moved through it paid my transaction fees. I think this will become a regular thing with me...

Buy the dips. So yeah, now seems like a good time for me to buy.

Definitely a good time to buy. Good time to buy some other altcoins as well, buy the dips. Pick some altcoins up whilst everyone else is selling .

I'm waiting for to have more SBD haha =D

A great investment opportunity right now for sure.

All you are just giving is 3 cents.
Hey Sir @zeartul I just want to ask for my dividends on my @bellyrubbank deposit That is just a total injustice for me and I don't think @thecryptofiend won't be happy for what you have done to me.

Hello, @cryptopie are you speaking of @bellyrubbank's votes on your posts? Those are not your dividen payments.

That is just a thank you for your deposit.

Dividens being paid today.

RESPECT

@zeartul you are a man of action ;) there is a lot of talkers here on the #steemosphere and just few who can make it into action

Yesterday steem was 0.92 at one time. I missed that boat.
