Word for the day: Perseverance

Within the cryptocurrency world, many things manifest as possible roadblocks to our vision of tomorrow's internet. Rumors, hype, speculation, and just the state of the world in general can be overwhelming when you are clinging to your core belief that this is the future of currency and business online.

Thomas Edison once said, “Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” How many of you have hung on to that ICO for just another week, or month, or year and found that you made the best decision of your financial life? If not, then I promise you that day is coming! I remember the old poster from the 70's with the picture of the kitten hanging on to a branch with a quote that reads "Hang in there, Baby"! This is what we in the cryptocurrency world must do.

The wonderfully supportive community of Steemit is a priceless commodity for those who need even just that little bit of reassurance that they are truly on to something! Steemit and YouTube are some of the best resources for education and support on this subject. Although there is also a plethora of information throughout the internet about crypto, having a community that is as enthusiast about the subject as we are, gives us all that little lift we so often need to persevere.

Soon, my dear friends, we will be the majority! Persevere, hang on, never give up or give in! The future is here, and we all got in on the ground floor. There is nowhere else to go but UP!

Personally, I would translate this to HODL. You need to hold on for years if you must.

Indeed....Gandhi took decades fighting for India's independence!
