I hate to be the one here advising caution... while at least you're getting paid to sell your soul, you're still potentially selling your soul. If it ends up in centralized hands, then that data becomes a honeypot for hackers worsening the digital panopticon.
The whole concept of companies selling data to each other is flawed because it's based upon a usury model. Once usury is finally gone, then this would be almost the same as posting to Steemit. I say almost because you still have the potential abuse centralization of data poses.
That is a really good point @zoidsoft.
But at least one is aware of what data is being provided. At present people do their surfing around only to have that data sold without their consent.
As you say, the more stuff ends up on the blockchain, the less access points there are to hack.
