My first efforts will be to have a high-quality commercial made for Steem that will clearly show the difference between Steemit.com and Steem the blockchain while highlighting the massive potential for Steem.
Just today I commented on a post about the aftermath of HF20 from @themarkymark in which I mentioned this very thing! I wondered if there was a way in which (members of) the Steemit community could take it upon themself to promote the platform externally in a way that avoids creating false expectations, yet underlines the possibilities. And also if we could collectively find a way to make it easier for newcomers to get started.
And here you are planning to do the promoting part, for which you have my gratitude and full support :-) I wish I was able, or had the guts to go all in with Steemit and Steem, but I just can't... yet. Therefore I'm grateful and have great respect for steemians like you, and that you're willing and able to take that risk on behalf of so many of my peers. And for what it's worth, I also believe in this blockchain's potential for greatness :-) Thank you for leading the way, @theycallmedan!
