RE: New 52 Second Animated Video Ad #7 for Steem!

in #steemads7 years ago

Hi Jerry
Great post, but Steem is missing the point IMHO
What is the point in attracting even more users to the system?
The platform is bleeding users almost as fast as they arrive.

The platform needs to be fixed first, then attract more users.

New posters give up because time & efforts are not rewarded
Commenters give up because ditto ditto
Curators give up ditto ditto
Nobody continues to work for 0.01 /0.02 when they are competing against bots that earn 50/100/200.

Only a few whales win around here & they bot vote for each other effectively living off the hard works / efforts of minnows.
No sour grapes on my part, I've only been analyzing the system, but Steem is just a monopolistic platform no different to FB ownership belongs to a minority.

The future looks bleak, an ocean full of a whales. with nothing to feed from once word gets out & steem attracts the "con-job" TAG.
Word spreads fast, it won't take long for an ALT platform to spring up and effectively wipe steem out, just by taking the steem basic concept & doing it better. ie A focus on growing the base not enriching the top.

@jerrybanfield until the Steemit platform is actually running smoothly there is no point to advertising on Facebook. All you are doing is Devaluing STEEM.

By constantly powering down steem to make bitcoin to make USD to pay Facebook you are creating less demand for STEEM and more demand for Bitcoin.

The way you are advertising Steemit threatens the future of it. Since you are encouraging people to sign up to make STEEM to powerdown to get the money that they are advertised to get. If Steem continues to go down then there will be less people wanting to invest in it especially if people just see it as something to get ride of once they have it.

If you really want to create lasting value with Steem you need to encourage more businesses to accept Steem as a payment. When people see that they can actually get real goods and services with STEEM then people will be more likely to invest in it.

Then it is actually functioning as a currency and not someone's temporary get rich quick scheme.
