Hello dear steemians!!!

I almost have everything ready for the move, just have to send my stuff with a delivery service and take my flight to Medellin on Thursday😁, lets try this time a two week space for submitting entries, that should give more time for more elaborated art pieces 😉.

Like past contest 50% of the SBD will be for the prizes, 30% for 1st place and 10% for 2nd and 3rd place each, additionally there will be @steembasicincome shares sponsored by @josephsavage.

Let's proceed with this contest theme...

Theme

This contest theme will be Alice in Wonderland...Re-Imagined

Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll:

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (commonly shortened to Alice in Wonderland) is an 1865 novel written by English author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll. It tells of a girl named Alice falling through a rabbit hole into a fantasy world populated by peculiar, anthropomorphic creatures. The tale plays with logic, giving the story lasting popularity with adults as well as with children. It is considered to be one of the best examples of the literary nonsense genre. Its narrative course and structure, characters and imagery have been enormously influential in both popular culture and literature, especially in the fantasy genre.

This has been adapted to countless of other media with their own twists and variations.

For example:

  • Disney's Alice in Wonderland animated film from 1951

  • American McGee's Alice

And It's follow up "Alice: Madness Returns" (My Favourite)

So basically for the contest you will be able to do anything that relates to this rich fantastical universe of Alice in Wonderland with your own personal twist making so it's not just fan art.

Here an Example of what you could do:

The White Rabbit

The White Rabbit is a fictional character in Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. He appears at the very beginning of the book, in chapter one, wearing a waistcoat, and muttering "Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!" Alice follows him down the rabbit hole into Wonderland. Alice encounters him again when he mistakes her for his housemaid Mary Ann and she becomes trapped in his house after growing too large. The Rabbit shows up again in the last few chapters, as a herald-like servant of the King and Queen of Hearts.

FANTASTICO VOY A PARTICIPAR

Thanks for submitting your entry @barski but I think you did not read the Contest Rules completely, this is a visual art contest and entries are expected to have a visual artwork done by the participant. Simple photographies do not qualify.

I guess I missed something, sorry. If time is enough and there will be an idea, I will add a drawing, but, while it is not.
