If you follow me here on @markrmorrisjr or at @dolphinschool you know that I am an avid student of all things steemit. Being a former professional social media manager (top search results on Linked in for Social Media Guru throughout 2011-2012, LOL) I love to check out new tools!
When Hootsuite came out, I became the first ever registered Hootsuite expert in the state of Oklahoma, after completing their training course!
Suffice to say, I'm no stranger to social media apps, or scheduling. At one point, my Hootsuite account managed over 120 profiles across six platforms for clients. AGGGGAHHHHHHA! (that's probably one of the reasons I sold my part of the company)
So, I've been looking for a way to schedule posts here. I know the mobile app features a full fledged calendar scheduler, but my thumbs are just too big!
I looked into Streemian, just before its shutdown. Seemed a bit scammy. So, when I saw Steemauto and realized it was using Steemconnect ( a service I already trust) to establish accounts, I was excited.
Today is the first day I've actually tested it out. So, this post was scheduled around 11:30 AM CST time this morning, and I'm setting it for 1 hour in the future.
I've added some formatting, and some images, etc, to see how it translates the html.
If you'd like to learn more about this app, I'll be sharing about it in my training post on @dolphinschool later this afternoon, or evening. I might even do a multi-part post.
So far, the drawbacks I see are as follows.
- You have to login to the steemauto platform
- The scheduler is copy/paste, so you have to use steemit, or an editor, with no preview on the steemauto site
- The scheduler is very basic, it offers scheduling in 1 hour increments, up to 5 days out. 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, etc, from the time you submit your post.
I'm sure if the platform proves to be stable, this will be improved in the future. But, for now, it may help me to space out my projects and get stuff done. Sigh, someone please build me a hootsuite for STEEMIT! I need the following features, stat!
- Multiple account support for switching between here and @dolphinschool, without needing to clear cookies to log on to steem connect!
- Access to tools like steemplus to allow rewards splits from posts
- Access to steem apps, like upvoters and steemviz
- Direct connection to chat channels on steemit chat and discord
- Scheduled posting to steemit chat, discord, Facebook groups, and more!
Who's with me on this? 2 Years and NOTHING? Sigh...

Thanks info
You are welcome! Hope it works out!
Sigh! I miss hootsuite, I loved the flexibility and options it offered, the analytics, it's just the perfect tool for social media management, all in all hope a sustainable tool for steemit will come up, and thanks to you I now know steemauto and I will post my next article using steemauto.
Will copying and pasting from the markdown app maintain the formatting?
Yeah, that certification earned me quite a few dollars! LOL It was good tool but almost all the good automation software is either gone, changed, or too expensive.
Thanks for the steemauto tip, @markrmorrisjr!
Absolutely! If you're not already, though, follow me on @dolphinschool, where I share a TON of training. I'll be launching a new steemit bootcamp shortly, as soon as I can get one day ahead on all the crap I'm posting! LOL
greeting my friend friend @ erdongan46 me from malaysia want to be your friend whether you want to be my friend
Well, that's great. But, here on steemit, your comments should really be in reply to the post ^^
Update!
This post turned out awesome! Everything is exactly as it looked in MarkdownPad2, very enthused by this.
Now, can someone please tell me the easiest way to work between multiple accounts? I write a LOT and one blog with all of my content overwhelms the readers. LOL
Glad everything came out as expected!
My wife and I use the same computer for Steemit and the easiest way we've found is to use different browsers. So, I get Firefox and she gets IE.
I am all for scheduling. I have used many social scheduling tools in the past, including buffer, hootsuite, coschedule, tailwind, etc etc. Automation is how I get ANYTHING done! I will definitely be checking out steemauto!
Do you have a post with a list of handy tools and apps related to steemit? I haven't heard about some of the ones you mentioned here and would love to know if there's a huge list of the best to check out!
@keciah
Haha I have no idea what hootsuite is, but I love steemauto! It is seriously going to help in the future when I am busy as fuck doing life this warm season. I hope they add more features as well!
Great to know, I actually made a note somewhere to go and have a look at a similar app called steemladder (if memory serves me right) - needless to say somewhere in the process of procrastination, the note and memory of its contents were misplaced - thanks for the non-intentional reminder!

Steemladder is no more. No more site, nothing. This is the only one I know of active right now, except for the mobile app.
Ha, so procrastinating does pay off...
... and so the world makes sense yet again!
