Oh, I resteemed before I noticed the 120 hour deadline. Sorry about that.

Anyway, I would've picked The City of Lost Children (La cité des enfants perdus), a French science-fantasy film from 1995. It's Budget was $18 million (when released, the film was dubbed the most expensive French film ever), and it grossed $1.7 million. So I'd say it didn't end up making huge waves.

I saw it in an obscure independent movie theatre, and I must say I enjoyed the dystopian steampunkish plot a lot.
