Last week seen an overwhelming surge of people who applied, not everyone could get one. If you did not receive a reply at all from your previous entry you MAY REUSE IT. After a bit of a break we are ready to get back to helping newbies and anyone else we can. We are going to try to stick to 3-5 SBI shares given out per day.
With all the applicants I will give a hint to help you move up the line and make yourself stand out. For a better chance at winning include a link to your introduction post and the post you are most proud of. If you are reusing a comment that didn't get you a share from past posts tell me the number of attempts too. If this is your second or third failed attempt, it likely has more to do with the number of applicants so don't get discouraged.
Steemit can be a difficult place to start out on these days I'm told, unless you know someone who has been on the platform for a long time or spend some money on a little Steem Power. Getting a post to pay out at all can be a difficult task. I won't even try to go into details of what is wrong with steemit, I don't think I have a clue anyways, instead I will try and help do something about it. We are going to try this every day for 30 days, giving out 3 or more sponsorships into steembasicincome.
@steembasicincome is a social experiment implementing a voting bot system that you can get sponsored shares into. I have been a travel writer for years but never got a lot of traction. When I found Steemit, I thought it would be a great opportunity to get involved with a community and potentially make a little on the side. What I have found is I really like the community. I have met a lot of great people with a lot of stories to tell. That is what has kept me going more than anything. Aside from travel writing, I am an underwater archaeologist, scuba instructor and photographer.

It is not easy being new around here. Somewhere I came across a comment that it was "soul crushing" to create a post with real content and original photography only to watch it get five "dust" upvotes and no comments, while some stupid meme copied from the web earns $80 on the back of a dozen self-upvote bots.
Maybe I am just a silly little cat, but I have more integrity than that. I'm not claiming to be Shakespeare, but maybe I can offer a few uplifting moments. And I will do so, even if I have to do so four cents at a time.
I do appreciate efforts like this to help everyone feel a little more "included!"

Here is my introduction post and another post. I seem to run out of words to express how thankful I am for this opportunity and @tmholdings generosity in providing sponsorships in #steembasicincome. I feel this is an amazing initiative and I am proud to be a part of it.
I have been reflecting upon the things in my life that are supposed to be a priority but usually take a lessor role in my life compared to my career. As I concentrate on what really makes me happy and lifts my soul I come back time and time again to my pets. And my pets remind me of the amazing relationship I have with all animals and the desire I have to make sure animals of all kinds are safe and protected. Above all I want them to know they are loved. Not just loved when they are cute and cuddly but unconditionally loved for who they are and what they bring to my life.
To that end, additional shares in the #steembasicincome would allow me to not only donate additional funds to animal charities that have a special place in my heart it would afford me more quality time to help volunteer at local animal shelters and animal refuges. I truly feel that if we treated people the way my dog treats me, then all of societies problems would become a vapory mist disappearing in the glorious sun!

I love cars, i mean i really do. Doesn´t matter if its that old Golf, that american V8 or an italian supercar. Driving to me is an expression of freedom and i feel imprisoned right now. I love to see and hear them in action and would really like to share my impressions.
My dream right now is to attend like every kind of event with cars and get back into photographing cars, also to make cool car art.
My start is gonna be a bit rough this season, since i will probably only be able to use my smartphone in the first place because my Camera that i bought last year from the few money i had got stolen :(
