@hethur240 made this beautiful necklace out of a rock she picked up from out of the Jake's Fork river in Missouri. She tumbled it and did the wire wrap and offered it for sale using @Steembay, which kept track of the bids and let me know I had won the auction! And I got to pay her using SBD!
There was a lovely smaller tumbled rock in the package from @heathur240 which was a delightful surprise!

Wow, I didn't know about Steembay, I was just thinking the other day that Steem needs more 'real world use'. It looks like a great project but it could benefit from having it's own website displaying things for sale.
I currently sell on eBay so I might give Steembay a go.

I am also looking to buy something with my SBD's but it won't be a Necklace. I want to buy something other Steem. Since last 2 months i have been powering up but now i think i need to spend my hard earned SBD's on something that would make me feel i have achieved something bug.
Except for contest payouts and tips all my SBDs are powered up, too! I couldn't resist @hethur240 s necklace, though!

This is a beautiful necklace. How does steembay handle shipping? I wonder if there would be a market for tutoring via Skype?
I think shipping is up to the seller. But I only have made this one purchase and @hethur240 paid the shipping. I suppose overseas shipping would have to be negotiated.
