Was heading home after school on Thursday evening... I entered a taxi and along the line i saw this little kid about 6years old hawking on a high way... She was carry a basket of oranges selling to people inside the taxi and i looked at her i felt this emotional pain in me...i asked her about her parents and she was like no parents just aunt...and she isnt even attending school! I felt pity on her and gave her the little money i had on me.
I don't know why a kid will be hawking on the road...especially in Nigeria and other African countries..they should be in school! Not in streets hawking!...
Am bittered and that's why am writing this. We should contribute to the lives of these children or an organisation where funds will be raised to train those poor hawkers out there.. And stop the hawking attitude.
Its has so many disadvantages and affects the young ones mentality attitude towards life
Lets say no to hawking especially among children...by 2020 am planning on organising a kind of fund center for children from a very poor background..at least it will reduce the high rate of hawking activities in Nigeria...
Together we can make the world a better plan.
Thanks

This is what poor leadership causes..
The rich are getting richer while the poor are getting poorer.
I have seen worst than this before, I pray favour locates this poor kids.
Its really sad...
The worst part of it all is that the money realized by them are not used to cater for them but for the kids of the person that sent them out.
#notohawking
Child hawking is vehemently frowned at in societies where the machinery of governance has not been fraught with corruption.
Unlike, here in Nigeria where the only thing that seems to pay in politics is looting public funds that would have been used to resuscitate those living below average.

This is a nice initiative, it's something we can start if we really wanna help.

Hi @chyshanny1
Thanks for sharing this post today. Its a good thing that we help the less privilege especially those who are in need.
These Children have great futures and it can only be actualised if the obtain the help the need.
Thanks for sharing.
I really appreciate! Thanks
This practice is usually because of poverty, trying to raise money for the family. I think the root cause of this is the other evil practice of giving birth to a lot of children when you don't have money to take care of them. Legislations can stop both practices and it should.
Lol so on point bro @nevies . Sometimes we are quick to point fingers to the government but the irony is that we are still that government we are pointing to.
Poverty is eminent in the country and yet it is the lower class that keep pumping into the population and bring children they can't properly fend for to this world to suffer.
@chyshanny1 I feel your pain dear, but what can we do if the average Nigerian is still folding his arms waiting for the government to solve his problems?
