How to Cure Writers Block

in #steembloggers7 years ago

Writer's block is one of the worst things that can happen to writers, musicians, bloggers, and artists alike. Over the years, I've been through bouts of writers block ranging from a week to a year long and have found writers block being a detrimental risk to my overall content output, work flow, and confidence as a musician and artist. I've been able to get over it almost every time and have been able to shoot out of the writers block slump with flying colors, with work that was better in tenfold then my previous work.
I will have to say this however: Writers block can happen for many different reasons and can effect each individual differently, so it's important to understand that each person IS different and has a different method of dealing with it and getting over it that is specific to that individual's needs and skill set. It's also sometimes a lot harder or a lot easier to get over writers block depending on how long you've been doing whatever your doing. Most of the time however, no matter how long you've been doing whatever you're doing, most of the time it's important to go back to the fundamentals and refresh yourself constantly on your skills and take the time on a weekly basis to learn new things and improve yourself, as well as your work.
If you work on improving yourself, your work will improve as well. Furthermore, your quality of life will improve.
Whether you relate this to your posting on steemit, your musical works, or just doing something for fun, it's important to get a good idea of how you're being effected, why, and how you plan to fix it.

What if I don't have WRITERS blocks?

Then you’re fine?

Nice post!
Self improvement is key & it should be applied in every aspect of our lives not only writing.

I agree whole heartedly!
