Fear is a kind of feeling We all feel in life. Now there is a kind of fear we feel that we find difficult to understand, this kind of fear make us feel we are not in control of a situation but we fail to realize we never really are in control.

like it was with the case of Job, he lost everything but not because he killed someone or he was wrong but there was a higher power and he knew it. and that's why he didn't end up a failure unlike Samson who didn't acknowledge the higher power, he didn't honor it because he thought he had everything under control, he believed in his physical strength but he became a failure..
Only when he acknowledged the higher power did he find true meaning but he didn't live very long after that.
There are higher Powers around us but we have a choice in which one to follow, God Himself is the greatest, he's in fact the founder of all that rules and he cares about us so he always has our back.

A person that fears lacks understanding and knowledge. He fails to understand that he alone has very little influence because all our steps are ordered by the Lord.
Imagine if when God told Moses to drop the staff in his hand when it turned to a snake and God told him to pick it back up, what if he was scared and didn't pick it up, you see he had 2 choices, to be a scared little thing who would of course die someday or to trust in a higher power and make a huge impact by being the most looked up to leader in the Bible.
Fear is doubt, you fear rejection when you doubt yourself, you fear failure when you doubt that success can indeed come, you fear when you don't know God, when you haven't come to terms with the fact that its not about the future but who holds the future..
I read somewhere years ago that there are two kinds of fear. The good fear and the bad one. Reverential fear of God is good, serving God out of fear to be distroyed is bad. Fear of men is bad, as it will lead us to please men over God.

Knowing and Acknowledging our fear is the first step to overcoming our weaknesses.
Jaff8 pointed that the only fear we should have is the Reverential Fear of God.
The God we serve did not planted the seed of fear in us, so how come christians nowadays do fear..? Fear on the part of a Christian come as a results of doubt and also when he sin's against God.
Recognition of the above ,gives us an edge over others,knowing that we can do all things through christ who strengthens us is actually a good thing because when we do we will recognise thst all thing is in his control snd not ours and we will try to abide by the rules apostle @abiye this is a really great one

Fear has always been the greatest enemy known to man. It is an instrument used by the devil to operate our minds. Let us say no as children of God.
Only the fear of God is permitted in our lives, all other fears are irrelevant because they are just illusions.
