And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually, and the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD, and God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth, and God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch, and, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee, and of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female, of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.

And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them, and thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he, and the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth, and it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth. In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.

And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth, and the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters, and the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.

And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man, all in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.

And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark. And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

Up till today there are so many people that doubt that God really exist and then I wonder if they have really read and digested this holy Bible. The Bible is a complete book and a must read for all beings, we can see what happened to all the adamant people that refused obey Noah they all died.

excellent written buddy ....

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. Really when we obey God his cover covers us !! Thus did Jehovah cover a man who received the graces of God.
Thank you for this beautiful teaching

The story of Noah helps us understand the fact that, no matter how evil and sinful a community is, those who are true to God's words are always there to represent him.

The sorry of Noah is very very exemplary it reaches that no matter how evil a nation or society is, he still sees the righteousness of the of the righteousness ones.
Always stay and live righteous in the ways ofvtje lord and he will spare you from his wrath.

Thanks for sharing this with us. is only fool that will say there's no God, when we have a stony heart, it only lead to destruction.. Our God really exist

It is tremendous all that it means to live in obedience! God rewards our obedience with his kindness, thanks for this beautiful word that reminds us of the covenant of God with us!

What I drafted out from the story of Noah has helped me personally it taught me that we should trust and believe God most of all be patient with Him,we should not be distracted by earthly things or the things of the world that doesn't edify God. A quick flashback at Noah's story how the earth was so corrupt and God made up to destroy the earth with water and Noah was singled out from the destruction, one lesson I note is that your lifestyle can affect your family in terms of protection.
Also God told Noah how to build the ark which portrays God as the chief architect of the whole earth, it baffled me how the people ignored Noah when he was building the ark their minds were conformed to the sin they were committing.Noah was told to go into the ark with all the animals male and female. When the ark was shut there was a great downpour of water from the sky.I pray this should not suffix in this generation.
Multitude of people were crying to go into the ark but it was too late for them, what's overwhelming is the duration of the rainfall shows that God's wrath shouldn't be incurred.

"But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD, and God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth, and God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth"
These days are still like the days of Noah and God isn't happy.

More animals made it into the ark than people. Why? Disobedience!

Noah was a man of diligence and obedience. He not only obeyed God, He also took his family through the path of righteousness. When I was reading this article, my mind went to @sirknight"s leadership and his compassion in helping people. Then I realized we still have some "Noahs" on earth till today. God bless you for this @abiye

God keeps his covenant with each one of us !!
Today I want to share a post I made about a great steemchurch leader I hope you like it!

Noah was never a selfish man neither was he a self centered man .
He listened to the voice if the lord and followed it.
He did exactly what the lord commanded him to do to build an ark in the preparation of the destruction that was to take place .
We as Christians of this days should always listern to the voice of the lord and do what he directs us to so.
Be always prepared for the worst may happen in the next minutes .

wow post your post is very intresting and beautiful thanks for sharing i always follow you for more blog

Determined and fervently attentive to the instructions of God, Noah made a difference. He was never discouraged because he had no doubt that God is able to do all He said He'll do. Thank you @abiye

If God has a purpose for us in this life, we can never run away from it, we must always find a way to accept our purpose on earth, to finally understand in the grace of God all that we do not understand.

Noe went through strong tests imposed by God but in spite of everything he fulfilled what God had proposed to him

My time invested in this reading was valuable, the example of Noe makes it clear that in the midst of a society without fear of God, there will always be those who get the grace of God to offer a new opportunity, thanks Apostol @abiye for this beautiful work

Since I was a kid I was told about this story and it always seems interesting, today I enjoy reading it again because it is the word of God, and because we have many things to learn from them, such as: Believe even when things do not even exist in the physical world . It did not rain on earth but Noe believed the warning of God and prepared salvation. Thank you brother for sharing the scriptures.

One is i learnt was that Noah was never discouraged by what people has to say, he kept on doing what pleases God.
And with that God kept him and his people safe.
