Genesis 2:18-23
And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

In chapter one of Genesis, we see that all that God created was good and then after He created man, He said all was VERY good (Genesis 1:31). But then, fast forward to chapter two; God saw a condition and for the first time, God said something was NOT good... WOW!!! what a statement, what level of importance that was laid on that which was missing...

Prior to the formation of man from the dust in chapter two, notice how that in chapter one, God had created the man (ADAM- male and Female). This goes to say that the FE-MALE was not as a result of after thought as some will think but rather, was in God's initial plan and that chapter two was a birthing of this plan.

Moving on,
Let's do a proper exegesis of Genesis 2:18-23;
After God formed man, the first thing was He gave man a job to do; man was not idle, he wasn't lazying around; doing nothing. Rather, man was in purpose; doing God's will. (Genesis 2:15). Man didn't even know that he needed a woman, because, if he knew, he probably would have asked God for one.

Then God said, I will MAKE him an HELP MEET... Notice who does the making- God. He knew Adam was sold out to Him, Adam was in the place of His Purpose; taking care of that which was committed to his hands and God knew Adam needed a partner, an help that is meet NOT because Adam was doing poorly but because, one shall chase a thousand and two, ten thousand.

Did you know that creation would have been incomplete if the woman had not manifested? And when the WO-MAN came on board, it was as if Adam had known her all his life. He looked at her and said, "this is NOW bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh... ". She was the man with a womb needed to fulfill the mandate of multiplication.

It is indeed NOT good for a man to be ALONE...
Remember, "he who finds a wife has found a good thing and obtain favour of God" (Proverbs 18:22).

So, guys...
-Discover purpose
-Work at it &
-Get yourself a Wife...

Awesome

Yea. the Bible made us to understand that it is not good for a man to be alone
But we should also remember that we need to find God first before finding a life partner
