"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Today's Bible Study

Have you ever been lost? I mean properly lost. Did you ever get separated from a loved one when you were a child? How did it feel? Anxious? Scared? Frightened? Panicking? Your heart beating out of your chest? Now, think of what it like to be reunited with your parents/grow-up. The feeling of safety or security – never wanting to be out of their sight again.

This is a picture of us before and after we found Jesus. We were lost. We were frightened. But, because of the cross, we were found. The shepherd left the 99 to come and find us. This verse speaks of all those who have been found. It declares the goodness of God and His promises to us. Nothing can separate us from the love of God. We can be secure in the knowledge that we will never be lost again. God will never leave us or forsake us. He will walk with us and continue to be with us.

Today's Prayer
Father God, I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, can separate me from your love. I choose to live in this truth today. Help me to share it with others today. Amen
