Dreaming Big

God is the Giver of worthwhile dreams. God, who created mankind in His image, endowed us with a will of our own and gave us (among other things) the ability to dream.

God himself has a dream for mankind. lt is his desire that his children live pure and holy lives that are whole and healthy and blessed in every way. He wants to commune with His children to bring us true peace and the desires of our heart.
In 3 John 2,

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Most of us also would like to leave this World having made a positive mark on those around us. . Dreamers are the people who accomplish the deeds that history remembers. The size and scope of our dreams vary, however, as do our motives. Some dreams tend to be selfish; others are selfless. Most of us have both kinds of dreams.

Jesus admonished, ”Seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matt. 6: 33). If we seek God’s will for our lives, our dreams will fall into their proper place.

We, however, have to plan and work to make our dreams happen. We cannot just say, ”Whatever is to be will be”. We must exert ourselves in an organized way in order to see our dreams come to pass. Maybe you have a dream, but you' re afraid to verbalize it or even pray about it because you' are afraid it won't come to pass If that’s the case, let me ask you something; what grows on lake that get frozen in winter? Absolutely nothing!

What stops people from dreaming

1. Feeling of worthlessness

Sometimes, people have feeling of self depreciation. We all feel like worthless nobodies at certain point in our life. It is when we start to act like worthless nobody that our present and future suffers. Some will say, "i have a dream but, but it won't really work for me. ‚ It’s impossible. I’m whipped. I failed before, and I'll fail again It won't happen. I don't know what to do,” and on and on they go with negative thinking and talking.

2. Believing the worst.

Whenever the media states, We are in a recession, 'people lose confidence, quit buying, and more people are thrown out of work. As a result the cycle widens‚ and soon there really is a recession.

Nixon was asked his view on what recession means,
Nixon answered, ” Anytime people lose confidence in the future and think are are no answers".

4. Yielding to depression.

You can choose to be happy and content, or you can allow sadness and despair to rule your emotions. It’s a matter of choice. Some people earn. millions of dollars, but their lives are empty and dull, while others earn only a few thousand, yet . their lives are full and exciting. You can also have money, be excited, and lead a happy successful life.
