God Bless the community of STEEMCHURCH. Grace and Peace to you!
May God free us from false pretenses and give us the true look to see the world with the gaze of mercy.
"Then came John the Baptist, who did not eat bread or drink wine, and you said: 'He is with a demon!' The Son of Man came, who eats and drinks, and you say: 'He is a glutton and a drinker' (Luke 7, 33-34).
When I hear today's Gospel, I am impressed with the human ability to criticize and see problems in everything. All of us have unresolved problems, but I say those inner problems that we hide and believe are resolved people. We spend our lives criticizing and seeing problems in others, when, in reality, the problem is us. We do not see the problems that are in us, but we always see the shortcomings and problems of others.
There are people who do not have the human capacity to recognize what is good in the other. When he meets, he is able to criticize, mock, see defects, problems and difficulties in everything and everyone, however, when it is to seek something good, he is not capable. That is, it is that person who sees error in everything and everyone, but is not able to recognize their own mistakes. With that, it does not accept truth, mercy or salvation.
It is what is happening with the men of the time of Jesus: "With whom shall I compare that generation?" This is the generation of those who, in fact, only live to recognize problems, defects and difficulties. When we look at our churches, communities and the world in which we live, it is true that they have limits and even grotesque mistakes, before which, humanly, we ask ourselves: How did that happen?
This kingdom is constituted by human persons like any of us. We want others to understand that we are human, but we want to look at them as if they were divine; and when we do not see the divine in them, we see demons. Even Jesus came to his people, they rejected him, they saw defects and problems in him. "Jesus is with the publicans He eats with the sinners, then He is a glutton and a drinker John the Baptist, who preceded him, who came among us, did not eat or drink, then he is possessed by a demon. he always wants to see the negative and problematic side of life, everything is a problem, there is a defect in everything, there is no solution in anything, the person believes that only she is good and deserves recognition.
May God heal us, save us, deliver us from false pretenses and give us the true look to see the world with the gaze of mercy.

Good word sometimes we make the life of those who come to Christ, in search of more difficult consolation, of so much judging.
My mother often says: the praises are published, the faults are corrected in secret. We must enhance the virtues of people and not their failures. Thank you for sharing this valuable teaching.
