The Book of Hebrews was penned during a time of severe persecution for the Church. And in order to escape the persecution many of the Jewish Christians were considering abandoning the faith and returning to Judaism. So the author of Hebrews is writing to admonish them to encourage them, and most all to remind them that without faith it is impossible to please God.
I pray that you are strengthen by this message
We all have been given a race to run. We are admonished to run it with endurance and patience.
While I cannot run your race for you, I can run it with you. Stay encouraged and be blessed.
