Hello parishioners of steemchurch peace be with you all.
Today is a great day in my life and am very thankful for it, I hope you are too.
Christians normally complain why am I a Christian and all these are happening to me, brethren the Lord never promised us a pain- free journey as we follow him. When you read Matthew 10:22, Mark 13:13,Luke 21: 16-17, all these verses talks about how the world will treat Christians. When the troubles comes please brethren let us go to Him in prayers and he will surely deliver us but rather let us not do something to inquire God's anger upon us.
When we read the book of Jeremiah 15:10-21 there you will come to realised that obeying God and doing His will do not immune us against hardship and suffering. Jeremiah seems to be discouraged because of persecutions. Jesus did not promise us a pain-free journey as we follow Him. (John 16:33, 2Tim. 3-12) when you suffer for obeying God, do not complain but rather rejoice. God always assures us of His presence and victory in times of troubles and difficulties. Be hold to stand against pribery in our work places ,organization and in our churches. Do not allow wrong or negative influences of the society to distract your attention. Always remember, if you suffer with Him you shall also reign with Him. For there is no crown without cross. Please as a Christians when the troubles comes let us not open our mouths to say things that will bring God's anger on us for His anger is slow but will surely punish us.
Let us also see something here from the scriptures what Jeremiah also caution us about the anger of God. Jeremiah 15:1-9 . According to him he made it clear that though God is slow to anger (Ex. 34:6) yet sinners will be ultimately punished. Sin attracts His hot anger. Inevitable doom awaits an erring child who despises God's warning. Can you mention the kinds of destroyers God used to punish Judah for their disobedience.....? Do not persist in sin, you may not have the second chance. Why not make a total break off from that sin that you always confess and you persist in.
Sin confessed and not forsaken could be very devastating. Do not play with sin, it kills now and hereafter.
Romans 6:14
"For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under law, but under grace."

Lord give me what it takes to stand for you in every situation I find myself so that I will not call your anger on me... Amen

God hates sin and that is why we should do everything in our power to avoid it in order not to provoke Him. Falling into the hands of God is very dangerous, thanks for the message @bigssam

Sin isolate us from God does why we ought to dependably go without from so we can be nearer to HIM
