Paul himself grappled with discovering God's will. He stated, "[I am] asking that by one means or another by God's will I may now finally prevail with regards to coming to you" (Romans 1:10). I don't realize what God's mystery will is for me in this circumstance, however I am imploring that he will send me to you. And after that he says, "[Pray for me] so that by God's will I may come to you with happiness and be invigorated in your organization" (Romans 15:32). I need the delight and refreshment, however I don't realize what God's will is yet.

What are you seeking God's will is after you? What do you design or need to do, in the event that he wills?

Realizing what that sort of pondering feels like, Paul says:

Gracious, the profundity of the wealth and insight and information of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how vague his ways! "For who has known the psyche of the Lord, or who has been his advisor?" "Or who has given a blessing to him that he may be reimbursed?" For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be greatness until the end of time. So be it. (Romans 11:33– 36)

In Romans 9– 11, Paul has climbed the steepest bluffs of God's sovereign and secretive will, particularly in race. Also, as he gazes upward, and sees another edge stretching out into the mists, he says — no, he sings out — over all he sees (and does not yet observe), Unsearchable! Mysterious! Incomparable! "To him be greatness until the end of time!"
