JEREMIAH 31:31-34
JOHN 12:20-33
REFLECTION.
God entered into a covenant with the Israelites through the patriarch Moses. By the terms of that covenant, he would be their God and they would be his people. The Israelites failed woefully to keep their own part of the covenant by abandoning the true God to go after the false gods of other nations. God decided on a new covenant to replace the old one. The new covenant would be sealed with the blood of his only begotten son, unlike the old covenant which was sealed with the blood of animals.

"unless a grain of wheat falls on the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies it bears much fruits".

This tells us about the death of Jesus, he will die and after his death many souls will be converted for the kingdom.

"he who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for the eternal "

When you love all that life on earth has to offer, the sin, the fun and all; you loose eternal life but when you hate the ways of the world and operate using the ways of Christ, eternal life is assured.

Jesus tells us "if anyone serves me, my father will honour him".

If you want to be honoured, be prosperous, to live above the standards of the world, to live beyond circumstances, serve God and you will be honoured.

"now my soul is troubled, what shall I say?father save me from this hour? No, for it was for this very purpose I have come to this hour, father Glorify your name".

Jesus tells us his purpose here on earth, to die on the cross and save humanity and in doing that the name of God will be glorified. What is your purpose of being alive today? Many would have loved to be alive but are no more, make today count.

A life lived without purpose is utterly fruitless. Making use of the time allotted to us by God is very Germaine. Nice post. I'm indeed blessed

Thank you
