"The lie shines while the truth does not come."

There is not a single person in this world who has not lied in his life even once, and it is that the lie is very easy to say, because suddenly we think that we have been saved from some uncomfortable situation; What we do not know is that later on, for any reason, the truth is known and we are really in a worse situation than the first one.

The lie is born of feelings that do not respond to the reality of the facts, when lying one distorts or denies reality in full consciousness, and the worst thing is that since we are the house of the Holy Spirit, deep down we feel we are failing and we We feel guilty feeding a distressing feeling, which does not allow us to be satisfied with ourselves.

In James 3:14 he tells us wisely, "But if you have bitter jealousy and contention in your heart, do not boast or lie against the truth."

To amend the lie requires courage, integrity and nobility, but these virtues do not have the liar, so what he does is deteriorate in his mental health until he can not deal with the famous stress.

In Proverbs 6:17 he talks about what Jehovah hates and one of the first things he mentions is "

haughty eyes, lying tongue and hands shedding innocent blood" and if you realize the three things are intertwined, since a proud person does not allow another to be better than her, therefore she will tell lies of this to the point of causing death.
The lie leads us to others sin, because upon discovering us, they will judge us and thus they are transgressing the command not to judge.
Another of the things that affect us lying is that lowers our self-esteem, because we are always accommodating situations with a lie, and finally we feel unable to face reality since we have created a whole world based on lies and look how Jesus Christ calls us in John 8:44 "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He has been a murderer from the beginning, and he has not remained in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks; because he is a liar and the father of lies. "
The lie is contrary to love, because God is love and truth, as a consequence if we lie we are moving away from God and with terrible consequences; the same Word says in Revelation 21: 8 "But the cowardly and unbelieving, the abominable and the murderers, the fornicators and sorcerers, the idolaters and all liars will have their part in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death "
Maybe our whole life has been good and for a lie we can lose our salvation, let's think about it, meditate on these last words and repent and return to the right path, read the word and there you will find the right direction for your life and a life of love and truth in which we have freedom.
