What do we get out of Adulam's cave? Psalm 34
David also writes Psalm 34 and there he already has a group of people who follow him then the Psalm is a motivational talk for those followers of David. Now David can preach and teach because it is not only theory but also life. Notice how it does if motivational speech
A. To the afflicted he says: "Taste and see that the Lord is good. Well ventured man takes refuge in Him "(34: 8)
B. He says to the indebted: "Fear the Lord, you his saints, for there is nothing lacking in those who fear him" (34: 9)
C. To the discontented he tells them: "Lions have needs and suffer hunger but those who seek the Lord will not lack any good" (34: 10)
D. Finally to the whole group he says in the form of a summary speech: "Many are the evils of the righteous (dark and lonely are the caves of the righteous) but of all of them he will deliver them to the Lord" (34: 19-22)
