“I have given you a land for which you did not labor, and cities which you did not build, and you dwell in them, you eat of the vineyards and olive groves which you did not plant”
Joshua 24:13
God is more willing to bless you than you are willing to be blessed. He is so keen for us to enjoy His abundance that in His mind, giving you over and above what you need is a settled matter. God has already promised “I have given you a land for which you did not labor, and cities for which you did not build, and you dwell in them, you eat of the vineyards and olive groves which you did not plant”.
God never used the word “MAY GIVE”, which would have meant he could have given or not But “I HAVE GIVEN” which means it has already happened before you got there. The God speaks His promises with Authority and Certainty. It is only a matter of time before your revelation of what you have through the works of Christ manifest.
A sister shared her testimony for years she had been seeking for job opportunity. She decided to take it to prayer, she saw an oil company that she wanted to work in, she told her dad but looking at their financial state her dad told her he cant help, it only powerful rich people’s sons and daughters that are employed there. She set off one morning to the company but she was immediately stopped at the entrance because she had no appointment. Upon refusing to let her enter she went back into her car and prayed that it is He the Lord that said she will never lack. She went back to the entrance but was being refused suddenly she was called to let her enter and was taken to the boss and the boss asked her what she was doing here, she said she wants a job, the boss asked her if she had an appointment she said “NO”. The boss offered her money that she should leave because he thought she was one of those girls who show up to seduce him for money. But she strongly refused, she said there was silence for a while. The silence broke and the boss told her he needed a secretary because the one he has is taking sometime off with her husband and he doubt she is going to come back, so he will give her two weeks of trial to see how she fares with the job, after the two weeks she become permanent. Expect divine provision from the Lord.
2 Cor 8:9
For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. In Him we are poor no more. It is the will of God that we enjoy good life without sweat. The only thing is we need to spend time with the word and exercise authority on the word for manifestation.
