A lot of people tend to only remember God in times of troubles and trials. I am making this post to tell us that in asmuch as we draw to God when we are in trying times to ask for his kindness and blessings towards us, It is therefore necessary to go back and thank him when we have been granted our wish. So many people ask God for open doors opportunities in their trying times, but do not seem to remember to give thanks to Him (God) after being successful.
God appreciates when we go back to him and thanks him for his blessings towards our lives. That and giving to the needy causes God to bless us more abundantly.
We need not in any situation no matter what forget God. He enriches us and multiplies for us. Most times we also tend to believe that those blessings came as a product of our knowledge and might, this is not true.
18 But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. (Deut. 8:18 AKJV)
God wants the best things for his children. No one is perfect. Do not forget the Lord your God when things fall in place for you.
I try my best not to forget that my blessings come from the Most high. So i am aware that when I thank him, it will attract more blessings. For he alone can shower us his children with abundant grace. I write this piece to urge all of us reading this never to forget the source of our wealth. For that makes Him (God) happy with us. Do not forget to always give thanks to God either in your trying times or in your prosperous moments. The life you are living is a great reason for thanking God first of all.
