Topic: GOD'S STANDARD OF HOLINESS
Key Text: Isaiah 52:11 KJV- Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord.

The standard of God's holiness is a very high one, it is not like man's standard that can be manipulated and can take short cuts or cut corners. The holiness of God is an uncompromising one that no one is neither too big nor too small to bow down to, the rich or the poor, the healthy or the sick, the famous or the infamous, the whites or the blacks, teachers or students, Pastors or their congregation are all expected to meet God's standard of holiness, no one is exempted from the standard of God's holiness. Acts 10:34-35 KJV.

God is a merciful God that will never tell anyone to do what is unattainable. His standard of holiness is high and yet attainable. Hence, God gave humanity guidance in getting to His standard of holiness. It has been the same guide from the beginning, the problem is that, humanity is stubborn and adamant to correction. God has never left His children in the dark, he has always instructed his children to desist from uncleanness. 1 Peter 1:14-16 KJV.

Stop measuring your holiness with human standard. The standard of your Pastor, Apostle, Bishop, and whoever you are looking up to, will send you to hell fire. The standard of God's holiness is perfection, and it is only through looking unto Jesus Christ with the help of the Holy Spirit, will get you there. Also, determination coupled with the fear of God, will see you through. Be determined to be holy and sincerely ask for the help of the Holy Spirit and you will be made holy to God's standard - Hebrews 12:2 KJV.

Prayer: O Lord my God, please have mercy on me and forgive me for all my unrighteousness, purge me and make me holy to your standard in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:48 KJV.
