And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and asked him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. Now when he had ceased speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a catch. Luke 5:1-4
God wants to bless us beyond our imaginations. He wants us to prosper and be in health even as our souls prosper. However He won't confer his blessings on us until we rely absolutely on Him and do what He says.
The above scriptures tells the story of Peter's first encounter with the Lord and how he received his first miracle. Peter had worked throughout the night but caught nothing until the Lord stepped in. Peter was a fisherman and knew more about the sea than anyone was standing on the crusade grounds of Jesus at that time.
Perhaps it sounded foolish when the Lord told him to launch out into the deep knowing for the fact that He was more experienced than Him and had tried his best throughout the night.
We all know that fishes and to be specific big ones are not just found at the sea shore or at shallow side but at the deeper levels. The deeper you go the higher your catch. Peter knew this kind of knowledge for he had engage in the fishing business for a long time.
Peter had no option at this moment because all his knowledge has come to stand still.
Experience is good but there is a limit to where your experience can reach and this is why we should not rely so much on what know only but to always seek for spiritual insight or knowledge about everything from the Lord.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

The Lord looked beyond Peter's circumstance and gave him a spiritual insight or knowledge. He told him to looked beyond what he sees in the natural, that is to walk by faith and not by sight. It was this kind of knowledge that led to the miraculous catch of the great number of fishes that their nets couldn't even bear.
And Simon answering said unto him, Teacher, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at your word I will let down the net. And when they had done this, they enclosed a great multitude of fish: and their net broke. And they beckoned unto their partners, who were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. Luke 5:5-7

Don't just rely solely on your experiences for even though they may be helpful to a certain point but can't help you in every situation.
Until we switch to a deeper level of spirituality certain blessings, anointing and power from God would be hard to come upon us.
If you are finding it difficult knowing what you should do in life just go to God in prayer and seek His word which gives wisdom, knowledge and understanding that is above that of man.
Whatever we say or do we need to ask ourselves that it pleased God....for the ways of God is not the ways of man. Thanks for sharing such a nice write-up.

Great post👍
Experience of God supercedes that of man because its backed by supernatural forces. God wants to bless us, we just have to yield.
