Many people work hard and have nothing to show for it, while some others work very little and succeed. When God is on your side, you will succeed. From the above chapter, the Bible tells us about the experience of Joseph in Potiphar's house. Whatever he touched prospered because God was with him. If you bring God into your equation, no matter where you are operating from or what you are doing, you will always succeed and be blessed.
Let's look at the scripture:
Genesis 39:1-5
And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither. And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand. And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field.
Our God is good and gracious. He does many things to prove His divine power, and no one can question His decisions. This is why He is the Sovereign. It does not matter how deep the valley you are in is, if God says He is going to do a new thing in your life, He can pick you up from that valley and set you on top. He can take you from absolute darkness to light (John 9: 1-7).
Never write yourself off in life. There is a silver lining in the cloud of your destiny. The good things of life can still come to you no matter what your present situation is. Lean on the everlasting arms of God and His unchanging Hands and you will never be disappointed. No matter the opposition of the enemies, the plan and purpose of God will come to pass. Nobody can abase the one whom God has decided to promote. God can make you grow daily in knowledge, understanding and in wisdom and have an excellent spirit like Daniel In the Scripture.
Text. Daniel 1: 8-13
But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs. And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king. Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink. Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.
Daniel's promotion took the form of a meteoric rise to stardom. He was able to make progress in a strange land and the Lord blessed the labour of his hands. Throughout Daniel's life, he moved from one level of promotion to the other. He was so relevant in the scheme of things that he served under different governments, and under every dispensation, He was always a point of reference.
One key lesson that stands out clearly in the life of Daniel is seen in the decision he made unto the Lord Daniel 1:8. His action shows us that men who have strong convictions, unalloyed and real dedication to the Almighty God are able to achieve exploits. The will of God stands out clearly in the lives of those who desire exploits. Your heart must be fixed upon the Lord on doing His will at all times, wherever you find yourself. Divine promotion will not come to those who want to use it for self-aggrandizement. You must be willing to use even, promotion God brings your way to His glory. Once your purpose and motives align with God's purpose, you will always be blessed and promoted by Him. Divine promotion does not come from the North, South, East, or West but God blesses His own people while on their beds sleeping. The righteous stand of Daniel moved God to promote him divinely. You can also become great if you stay close to the Almighty God, who is the source of all true greatness. Align your motives with God's will today, and you will experience divine promotion.
As followers of Christ, we should live a moral lifestyle to get divine promotion. We should be dedicated and steadfast, and also allign our purpose and motives with God. We should make wise decisions and let our life reflect righteousness to others. There are quite a number of things we need to do.

You right making descision is very important i once make a bad descision when i was 19 years .
Joseph is a fine example of good morals and good conduct. His good conduct opened the doors for him. Today, we all read about him from one of the greatest books ever written. Divine promotion will eventually come if we are loyal.
There are so many benefits of being obedient to God's word without compromising for any reason
This was an incredible post

Very correct! Greatnest comes from God and him alone!!
All the things we learn in the bible helps to build our lives thanks
It’s not of he that will or he that runs..... but it’s the lord that shows mercy.
God is the author of promotion.
The heart of kings is in his hand.
Thats a wonderfull post you have ther its very insightful keep it up brother @daniel
Yes, only God can make one great! "Show me a man who is diligent in his works, and he will stand before kings" He said "The heart of a king is in His palms"
Truly, only God and He alone can make anyone great no matter what your currently doing at the moment.
Secondly, while we wait upon the Lord for success, we should do things that makes us outstanding as christians. Joseph went through hell yet he stood his grounds. Most christians who aren't rooted in God's word would have easily fallen out, but Joseph was different.
We know that those who live a holy life will duly be rewarded by God amd that should be our assurance that God can never forget us in any situation that we find ourselves. We just have to be strong and trust totally on Him.
God bless us all...Amen
