The Bible says, "Whosoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be spared" (Romans 10:13).
We realize that supplication does not spare; God spares. However, we see from this verse God has made supplication the road through which salvation is conceded. He concluded that we should call upon Him before He will spare us.

PRAYER IS NECESSARY FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH

What is otherworldly development? It is developing in comprehension of God's ways. It is developing in comprehension of His Word. It is creating scorn for transgression and developing in the adoration for honesty. By and large, it is being changed into the picture of God's Son. Petition causes us in every one of those territories.

PRAYER IS NECESSARY TO HELP US STAND FIRM AGAINST THE DEVIL

Jesus stated, "Watch and supplicate, that you may not go into enticement; the Spirit is ready but rather the tissue is frail" (Matt. 26:41). Jesus realized that petition was completely important to oppose enticement, that without it we are feeble and defenseless against the assaults of Satan.

PRAYER IS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN THINGS

God truly needs us to have things—numerous things. Notwithstanding, He needs us to have just those things that are beneficial for us. There are numerous great things that God needs us to have, yet in the event that we don't request them we won't get them (James 4:2).

PRAYER IS NECESSARY FOR OBTAINING FULLNESS OF JOY

Jesus said in John 16:24, "Up to this point you have requested nothing in My name; ask, and you will get, that your euphoria might be made full."

PRAYER IS NECESSARY FOR OBTAINING MERCY AND GRACE

Jesus Christ, our awesome High Priest, is completely human and completely God.
The human side of Him makes Him ready to be thoughtful and forgiving toward us, and the God side of Him makes Him ready to help us whenever with any of our needs. With this incredible acknowledgment in see, as Hebrews 4:16 says, "Let us along these lines come strongly to the position of royalty of elegance, that we may acquire kindness and discover beauty to help in desperate hour."
