THE TRUE POWER THAT HAS A SMILE

in #steemchurch6 years ago

Smile although sometimes you do not return the smile, it is always better to be the one who smiles.
Have you ever wondered what you can cause in someone else with a smile or do you know how important it can be for someone who needs it?

When we are born we have the innate ability to smile and that is a virtue that should not be lost.

Smiling is one of those faculties that are exclusively human, although sometimes we strive to see smiles in cats, dogs or elephants. It is an expression that causes great impact. Proof of this is that there have been several experiments on the power of the smile and almost all of them conclude this.

Beyond the fact that science has made experiments on the power of the smile, anyone can make tests in their daily life to draw their own conclusions. For example, try simply asking someone for a favor by displaying a serious expression and then do the same, but smiling. See if any change is generated.

We all place more confidence in those who smile. There are unconscious mechanisms that allow us to detect if someone genuinely smiles or not. If the gesture is not genuine, the opposite effect is generated: we distrust. Part of this is what the experiments on the power of the smile prove.

"Every smile makes you a day younger."

Smile as a human expression

The smile has been associated with longevity, health, physical and mental well-being and human relationships. It is a universal trait that brings us closer and links us as a race. Smiling is contagious from an evolutionary point of view because it causes us to lose the control we have over our own facial muscles.

In the book Origin of Species, Darwin asserts that smiling can make us feel better, because it modifies the neural process of the emotional content of the brain, so the smile is not only a result of feeling good but can also be an enhancer of well-being and help us feel better.

Thanks to several experiments on the power of the smile that have been made in different parts of the world, today we know that it is not enough to smile, but also that smile must be sincere and reflect genuine feelings.

One of the most interesting experiments on the power of the smile was carried out by the scientist Ron Gutman, who has studied the subject for several years. The findings of his inquiries were published in Forbes Magazine, in an article called The Untapped Power Of Smiling.

This study gives us a striking fact. They placed a young monkey next to two people. One of them smiled and the other did not. The little animal approached the one who smiled. The test was repeated several times and the same thing always happened. Something similar happens among humans.

The article reviews a study carried out at the University of Upssala, Sweden, on the reactions generated by different facial expressions. It was concluded that people who smile tend to spread their good disposition. It was postulated then that "the smile is evolutionarily contagious". Therefore, the smile helps bring people together, acts as "social glue".

How is it possible for laughter to heal? Very easy: when we laugh we release endorphins, the so-called 'happiness hormones' that have a natural analgesic effect on our body (in addition to reducing stress and blood pressure, among many other virtues). In addition, we secrete serotonin, another hormone that lifts our spirits. The combination of both is, without a doubt, an effective natural remedy for any ailment, physical or mental.

A warm smile makes us feel more comfortable and that we cope better with frustration and challenges. The Bible recommends: "Do not hold back the good of those to whom it is due, when it happens that it is in the power of your hand to do it" (Proverbs 3:27). In effect, this simple gesture can benefit us and others. Why not try hard then to share with others the valuable gift of an affectionate smile?

God wants to see you smile, wants to put your heart happy. We declare about your life that you will change the regret for a smile and the complaint for joy. The things that distressed you will be replaced by things that will make your life happy.

The bible says in Proverbs 17:22: "The glad heart is a great remedy, but the decayed spirit dries up the bones." Doctors have amply proven that the mood of their patients greatly influence their health. King Solomon had revealed this secret thousands of years ago that laughter heals the heart and aids in the health of our body. True faith makes people happy and optimistic, holiness has nothing to do with seriousness. God does not want you to live in anguish or bitterness, he wants you to live happy and happy with what you have, always hoping that better things will come.

Let us pray this prayer: "My God, teach me to live happy and smiling. Help me to get rid of the sorrows of my heart. I declare that from today I will begin to laugh whenever I can, to live in a good mood at all times, in the name of Jesus "amen.

Thank you Mother @Darlenys01 for this in-depth teaching on being happy. God do not clothe us with sorrow and He expects us to lead a happy countenance. However, this is when we take delight in His word.

"Happiness is a work ethic ... It's something that requires our brains to train like an athlete has to train," he says in his book. The responsible is usually dopamine, a neurotransmitter associated with happiness and stress relief, which is also very important for learning, processing and decision making.

smiling can help us recover from stressful episodes. It turns out that phrases such as "smile and hold", are not a mere social convention, but have health benefits and could be the "panacea" to cope with certain situations. When we get stressed, cortisol levels rise and blood pressure rises, which suppresses our immune system.

"Joy is not in things but in us."

They say that a day without a smile is a lost day

The smile fortifies the immune system, promotes healthy emotional states and stimulates rewarding relationships with others. And, in addition, it loses weight.

Long live happiness, smile and life Apostle Darlenys.

The power of the smile transforms the face of man and makes the heart happy.

Proverbs 15:13 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960)
13 The happy heart beautifies the face;
But by the pain of the heart the spirit is broken.

And Sara said: God has made me laugh; Anyone who hears it will laugh with me.
Genesis 21: 6

The power of the smile
What a wonderful power to smile, change the atmosphere of the meeting and change our mood.

How interesting that God makes us laugh as he did with Sarah, whatever the humanly impossible condition, but God transforms our lament into dance. Great publication.

Lovely message May God allow me that power to smile constantly in life. Thank you for sharing this message.

Only God changes our lament in laughter. God gives us this wonderful power so that Christians experience the continued joy of living in Christ. It is the duty of the Christian. Holiness does not imply a serious face. What Christ did on the cross is a source of joy for the believer, since the pain and suffering of Christ led him to the cross.

I like your publication. I need to laugh and give good humor to my Christian life. Blessings

Your message is enriching. Great learning Smile is a power that comes from God, which transforms our sadness into joy.

Very interesting your publication. It is a necessity for me to laugh, laugh and laugh ... to enjoy the Christian life and how healthy it is to smile at life.
