"You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of Hades will never overpower it" (Matt 16:18)
Those words of Christ to his disciple started the fellowship of Christ on earth and that has grown a whole lot today than in those days. The call to apostleship now applies to each and every one of us as Christians, both the clergy and the lay faithful. We are all called to serve as one in Christ's body and like the bible said,we are a Royal priesthood, a chosen race just like it's said in 1 Peter2:9 and we are to continue Christ's discipleship on earth.
