Matthew 7:16 to 20 tells us:
16 By their fruits you will know them. Are grapes picked from thorns, or figs from thistles?
17 Thus every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
18 A good tree can not bear bad fruit, nor a bad tree can bear good fruit.
19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20 Therefore, by their fruits you will know them.

Matthew 3: 8
Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance. (Witnessing that there is true repentance in us and a genuine change)Bearing fruit will have its reward.
Matthew 21: 43

(It is these fruits that in the day of Christ will make us blameless and sincere through him for the glory of his name)The fruit of the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 5: 22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance; Against such things there is no law.
