Job Chapter 1 vs 1-5

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.
His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.
And his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them.
And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

Job had the perfect number of sons. His children had fellowship with one another.
He is always aware of the feasting and purified them after such feasting. It was Job's regular custom.

The head (man) of the house must have a regular custom.

For some it is sitting in the evenings to read/listen to the news, for some it is sitting with drinks, some prefer arguing with friends on the situation of the country, some prefer watching soccer and so many other 'must do'.

For Job, his 'must do' is to reconcile his children with God. He did it early in the morning.

Having a constant relationship with God doesn't just come like that. It requires a conscious effort to do the 'God-first' kind of things.
It requires practice and taking it one step at a time. The first step of course is giving one's life to God.
The man of the house must first have a good relationship with God before he would be able to make requests on behalf of others.

Here are a few other steps:

  • Praying is as important as providing material things for the family.

  • Studying the scriptures should follow.

  • Interacting with the peeple of God helps to revise what God requires

The other members of the house consciously or unconsciously follow in the footsteps of the man of the house.
Decide what your 'must do' will be and let it glorify God. If you already have a ‘must do' check to make sure it is in line with what God wants.

Being the Man of the House offers you the opportunity to serve your household through Godly, servant leadership.
You are in charge of overall direct leadership of the family.

As the Man of the house, you are to lead the family through personal worship and in corporate worship, ensure that each Family member is worshipping God in a way that is consistent with the scripture.
Bible reading should be a custom taught to the Children.

The man of the house is a responsible for the wellbeing of his wife and children, he leads with;

  • Love
  • Dignity
  • Gentleness And
  • Confidence.

The Man Of The House Is The Alpha-Male Of The House Who Has Been Called By God To Lead His Family In A Way Thay Glorifies His Name

This is true and should be the case.
But, nowadays in some homes, it's the woman who play these roles because the Father of the house is too busy making money.
Men should take after Job and emulate him.

Thanks for sharing Bro Druids.

Epic piece @druids.
We must have a close relationship with God as christians and believers:)
Job is a man who was upright and faithful with God...even at the point of death, his loyalty was still firm:).
Thank you for the initiative, you made a good call:)

Kudos.

a very good post, this is very useful for everyone, and can be a very good motivation for everyone in living this life. In this life, we must live to help each other and want to help the less fortunate, like the poor, because God will be glad to those who want to see the suffering of others. whatever we do, we must always be close to God, so God will always keep us day and night, and God will also give us his grace. thank you...

The man is the head of the family and that's means he had responsibility to carry in the family,he is a leader of the house and it's supposed to be someone that has purpose and have fear of God,he is the image of God,Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Ephesians 5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. Colossians 3:19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

very good photography with excellent content. regards

In fact, the way in which Scripture describes the husband's role as the head of women highlights the essential spiritual equality of men and women. In 1 Corinthians 11: 3, Paul wrote: "I want you to know that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God the head of Christ."

The content of your publication is very good. The head of the household is the one that directs its members, therefore it must have clear its attributions as head. And as you mention, the most important thing is to put God first. Praying and reading the word are the foundations that you should teach your family. As obedience and fear of God

And the father should lead his family with care so that he does not end up irritating his children .
He shoud not force them to study the bible with him but rather talk to them calmly and make them see reasons
Why they should make progress in thier spiritual life by studying the bible and other religious publications

Leadership is a virtue, being called to be a leader anywhere could be challenging but it's actually a blessing, being able to lead your household to God, comes with this joy nothing can replace.

The responsibilities of the man of the house are many, socially they are many, but the most important is to take his family to the paths of good and the way that leads to the eternal life that Jesus Christ offers.

Great piece @druids, more grace to do more
