Greetings to you all and greetings to the @steemchurch. God blessings be with us all. Today I feel like sharing what I learnt about wisdom some time ago.

The dictionary defines wisdom as;

"the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgement; the quality of being wise".

Every person in life needs wisdom to lead a successful and purposeful life. Wisdom in a man influences his judgment and decision making. Those who lack wisdom do things and take decisions without anticipating the effects of their actions. This actions and decisions most times ends up turning against them.

The Bible encourages us to get wisdom and understanding in all our endeavors Proverbs 4:7. It also tells that those who have wisdom are considered blessed. Proverbs 3:13. Wisdom brings you out of any situation and also makes you understand things the way others could never do. Wisdom might not be having the best idea, but it can be using the best ideas in the best way possible. With wisdom you stand out from the crowd.

Proverbs 4:7 NKJV
"Wisdom is the principal thing;Therefore get wisdom.And in all your getting, get understanding"

Proverbs 3:13 AMP
"Happy [blessed, considered fortunate, to be admired] is the man who finds [skillful and godly] wisdom, And the man who gains understanding and insight [learning from God’s word and life’s experiences]".

How do we get wisdom?

God is the only true source of wisdom. He said in his word in the book of James 1:5, that if we seek wisdom, we should ask of him. It's no wonder Solomon asked for wisdom from God, and he was considered the wisest man to have ever lived.
We should seek God's wisdom today for it will take us far in life.
