I describe pride with this illustration;
Once, the animal kingdom had meeting and the venue was to be in the sky. As a result of the greedy nature as popularly depicted of the tortoise he had no one who was willing to give him not even a feather to fly with, so out of pity the dove volunteered to help him fly by holding a piece of wood with its beak while tortoise did same but its mouth. While they flew up in the sky, the whole world was astonish to behold such sight and lo " He opened his mouth to arrogate the power to fly to his ability " only for of course loose grip and he fell to the ground.
Prov 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall.
NOTE: There is no small Pride .
