As Christians, are we expected to fail? Questions like this usually come up among brethren. Some say I fail more than 80% of anything I indulge in. What will the unbelievers say or think of me? Honestly, the thought of failing freak out some people. Everyone wants to be successful regardless of all odds. One of the keys to overcoming failure in our contemporary world is to recognize that it can benefit you in some ways. Once you acknowledge that fact you will understand that you can learn from your failure as life progresses and never repeat that same mistake that led to you failing again. Sometimes God wants you to learn from your mistakes to become a better person and also to prepare for the challenge you will have to face in future. Have you been faced with many problems in life that you couldn't proffer a solution? That does not mean you are a failure. All humans have their limitations, and God is fully aware of it. He has given each and everyone one a gift from birth. That is why the Bible says
Psalm 103:14 KJV For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
God always equips you and make you ready for the task ahead.
Philippians 4:13 ESV I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Secondly, fear is one of man's greatest enemy. It demoralizes you even before you engage in whatever you have in mind to do. Many people out there often fail because of the fear factor. If you are worried about what might go wrong in the process this, in fact, would reduce your success rate to minimal or zero. Be focus on your dreams and goals don't capitalize on your fears. Move forward to achieving your goals with faith that yes I am a child of God. And God promises towards his children are that of good and not of evil that will lead us to an expected end. You got that part right, yay! "To an expected end" that means, at last, you would become victorious when you have no iota of fear in you. The Bible says
2 Timothy 1:7 KJV God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Be full of life whenever you are about to take on a new project, achieving a goal, providing a solution to a problem or anything. Be confident in the Lord. Never give up! Do you think you are a complete failure? Or think you can no longer be useful to your generation. This message is for you a word of hope to keep you on your feet. Anticipate part two of this series I will be publishing in a couple of days. If you have encountered something similar, why not, you can share your own experience and how you overcame your failure in the comment section below.
