Hey @steemchurch here are vital keys to winning in anything you set hands to do read till the end there will be a change in your life.
Victory in a simple dictionary sense is-An instance of having won a competition or battle.
Jesus is not here presently but he made a provision of another forceful authoritative spirit to always make a way to victory and rescue those who rely on him. This formidable force is the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT, the spirit of God.
Jesus christ in the old testament demonstrated power as the son of God,when he left and to return again he said he will be with us forever in form of his spirit.
In John 2:3-10 (3And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
4Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
5His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
6And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
7Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
9When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
10And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.)
Jesus here must have sat at this wedding ceremony quietly and probably he would have left unnoticed till a crisis arose. After what he seemed unwilling to act, jesus gave instructions and with obedience to his awkward decision they had the best wine available.Call this a rescue
Take note every difficult condition the disciples found themselves in they enjoyed victory because the master was with them.
Jesus is the ultimate way to victory, since he is not presently here he made availability for us to solve problems and win through the holy spirit.
How can we do this? Matthew 7:7 (Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:) simply just ask and you will see him in action.
One time a pastor, had a challenge finding location to his hotel when he went for a conference in Dubai. The driver didn't know the way and no GPS was available, he spoke to God and said 'Holy spirit show us the way in Jesus name' immediately his eyes were open, he started leading the driver ,turn left turn right and they got there. God is amazing
you can also gain victory and rescue, just ask.
-WORKS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
- He helps us in our weakness. Romans 8:26 (Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.)
- He speaks to us. Revelation 2:7 (He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.)
- He is our great teacher. John 14:26 (But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.)
- He is our coach. Acts 16:6-7 ( 1And it came to pass, that after we were gotten from them, and had launched, we came with a straight course unto Coos, and the day following unto Rhodes, and from thence unto Patara:
2And finding a ship sailing over unto Phenicia, we went aboard, and set forth.
3Now when we had discovered Cyprus, we left it on the left hand, and sailed into Syria, and landed at Tyre: for there the ship was to unlade her burden.
4And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.
5And when we had accomplished those days, we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed.
6And when we had taken our leave one of another, we took ship; and they returned home again.
7And when we had finished our course from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and saluted the brethren, and abode with them one day.)
Just ask him ,he is a person he'll lead you to victory
